You cannot speed up time in Scourge of War: Waterloo. In this game you need to lead armies, brigades, corps and divisions. You can also issue commands with gestures, but then all troops will begin to carry them out at once. If the courier successfully reaches the goal, then the commander will first examine the contents, and then send a dispatch to the lower links. To give the order, you need to send a letter with the adjutant. In it, the speed of movement across the field is limited by the horse's capabilities, and the vision is limited by the sight of the commander sitting in the saddle.
